Fare Share is a self-service store, but if you need help, all you have to do is ask. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own containers for bulk items (bags, glass jars, etc.) but these are also available at the store for small fees (i.e. 19¢ for a pint plastic container with a lid). We also have new plastic bags in a variety of sizes and paper bags for bulk coffees. You can pre-weigh your containers and we will subtract the weights from your purchase.

We receive deliveries United Northeast, Associated Buyers, Frontier Herbs, and Avena Botanicals regularly. We also receive deliveries of breads and other local products (eggs, cider, butter, and produce) throughout the week. Check with a staff member for more details.

If you volunteer 4 hours per month, you can earn a 10% discount. Also, members can pre-order groceries and products at 15% above cost, whereas non-members pay 35% above cost.
