The Commons Art Collective is exhibiting members' work at The Commons at the Fare Share Co-op on Main Street in Norway. The Commons is open to the public on Thursday and Friday afternoons from 3-6 and Saturdays from 10-2 and can be accessed through the Fare Share Market Mon-Wed 9am to 6pm, Thur-Fri 9am to 7pm, and Saturday 10am - 4pm or by appointment. The Collective encourages artists with support, interaction and collaboration. The group is looking for more members interested in original and developing approaches to painting, sculpture, photography, poetry, performance and other arts. The Art Collective provides opportunities for discourse among artists and the greater community with exhibitions, presentations and workshops which are open to the public throughout the year.

• Artist Member: Fees - $120/year and volunteering time to keep the Commons open.


• Artist membership entitles you to:
  - showing your work in two group shows a year (July and December)
  - giving one workshop or event per year without charges for using the space
  - one, two, or three-person show per year


• Requirements: Attend monthly meetings, sit the gallery, help hang shows, set up and clean up openings, work on publicity.


• Supporting member: Fees - $30/year and volunteering time to keep the Commons open.


• This entitles you to:
  - invitations to openings
  - one group show participation
  - a voice at meetings


• 20% of sales of artwork will go to the Fare Share Co-op to be used for expenses.
